Your browser saves data from visited websites. To prevent other people from tracking these, delete your history using your browser settings.

In the menu, click “History”, “Delete recent history”. Then select “All” or a specific period. Tick the appropriate box under “Details” and click on “Delete now”.

In order to completely prevent the saving of history, you can select “Private window” in advance in the menu.

In the “Tools” menu, select “Security”. Here you open “Delete browsing history”, mark the relevant browser data and click on “Delete”.

You can avoid saving your history by clicking on “InPrivate Browsing” under “Security”.

In the browser toolbar click on the Chrome menu and select “Tools”. Here select “Clear browsing data” and click on “Clear browsing history”. Mark the relevant browser data and click on “Delete data”. Or you can select the option “Delete browsing data” under “Data protection” in the advanced settings.

Anonymous surfing is possible with the incognito window. You open this by selecting the menu item “New incognito window” in the wrench symbol menu. Chrome will delete all browsing for this window when you close it afterwards.

You can delete your browser history on all mobile devices. The actions in the various devices are so different, however, that no general instructions can be created.
